If it's programmed to force scan when put on hook, that sucks for those that don't want the radio to scan all the time, or don't want it to scan at all. It will not start scanning again UNLESS you have it programmed to force scan when the mic is put on hook, which I do not want. You talk or whatever, then put the mic back on the hook.

Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request.
